What's your dream?

I know you have one; we all do.

For example, walk into a bookstore and you will witness a sea of dreams. It's a little overwhelming to think about it: the effort, the hope, the passion that went into every page.

"You need a cheerleader, Rebecca. I'll be your cheerleader."

"I'm so proud of you!"

These are the people, who no matter what, are encouraging of your dream. We all need those people. For those people in my life - you know who you are - I am grateful beyond words.

But these supporters need you to tell them your dreams, write them down, and keep your dreams alive through action, whether in little or big ways every day.

"Hold the vision!," as Lorin Beller Blake says.

Even if you don't feel like you have support now, as you pursue your dreams, authentic support floods into your life.

We all have a negative voice inside of us that we have to notice and learn to tame.

When we are brave enough to say and write down what we want our life to look like and how we want to help others, the outcome is even greater than we expect.

For me, you get endorsements like this:

"...best of all is going outside together. With this book you will get inspired to make that adventure happen every day, even if it’s only for 15 minutes. This is a lifetime habit your children will thank you for starting – today!”

-- Martha Sears, RN, co-author of The Baby Book

And Amazon reviews like this:

"Fifteen Minutes Outside: 365 Ways to Get Out of the House and Connect with Your Kids (Paperback) If you are looking for a book that will open your eyes and will encourage you and your family to get outside and engaged with one another, this is the book to do it! It is an inspiring book that will definitely make you think about what you are doing with your kids. Keep it close at hand for easy reference, as with as many ideas that it presents, you will never be at a loss for activities that will leave the whole family having fun together."

Be someone's cheerleader today. When they are frustrated, ask them what they really want. Show them you care in little ways. Nurture yourself and your family with a little nature.
